is christianity a philosophy or a religion?

answers1: Christianity is often viewed as one of the world's major
religions, but Christianity also offers a philosophy of life that has
greatly influenced Western society for nearly two thousand years.
Thus, to ignore Christianity in the study of philosophy is a great
mistake.
answers2: Christianity is a Religion. Most religions are based on
some kind of philosophy about the nature of existence, the nature of
divinity, and the relationship between creation and divinity.
answers3: Ask Bill O'Reilly.
answers4: christianity is a "philosophy", but in its most literal
definition, "the love of wisdom". Jesus is the incarnation of the
logos, the true wisdom of God. the church is the bride of christ, the
lover of the logos, the wisdom.
answers5: Religion.
answers6: Bill O'Riley can blow what he normally says out his mouth
through his ***. It's a religion.
answers7: Good question.
Both, I think.
A religion because it involves prayers, ceremony and worship.
A philosophy, because it's originator was teaching a way of life.
SUDHAKAR - very well said, sir.
answers8: It really comes down to the individual, but it should be
more spiritual than either two .
answers9: It certainly is not a philosophy. Philosophy means the love
of wisdom; Christianity is little on love and less on wisdom.
answers10: All religions are philosophies.
