Auditioning for a performing arts college?

answers1: You need to call the place that is having the audition to
find out. A lot of times you can audition as either one but if you
make it into the school you would have move there and take classes
there to finish your education which would be extremely difficult for
you to do as a young dancer. So I say wait until your a Senior in high
school so that way you can just focus on Dance. <br>
<br>
<br>
Also I think that you should just go to your location and audition
especially if you're close. But, if you feel that your nerves will get
the best of you at auditions and will hinder you from performing your
best and making it into the school than do a video audition
answers2: You apply and audition in your senior year as any college
applicant does. You never audition your junior year. You should visit
the school to see if it is a good fit and you should really audition
in person as most schools don't allow a video audition for admittance.
You also want to see the school facilities and meet with the
department head as well as see a school showing to see if you are a
good fit for a specific school. College costs a lot and it is
important you go to the actual school to check it out in person as
well as audition in person when you are a senior. As a junior it is a
good time to start your research on this. Perhaps visit some more
local schools that have a dance program when they are in session.
Dance Magazine College Guide lists all the major school programs what
they offer and what they require. It might be a good idea to invest in
that.

Whats a good name for a Childrens Performing Arts School?

answers1: i am not very good at names but i tried and this is the best
i can do "performing children"
answers2: CPA (children's performing arts) <br>
The Academy <br>
The Academy <br>
Art Beats <br>
Young Performers Center (YPC)
answers3: Clover Jane - i easily incredibly love Clover. this is
uncommon, yet cute. Jane is a sturdy stability to it. Finley Charles -
Finley is an properly-known call in my ideas. this is wonderful, yet i
does not use it. Charles is fairly high-quality. Rowan James - i
admire the two Rowan and James, it is my familiar call. If I had
infants sooner or later, they had be Bridget Alice, Carolina Lily
"Callie" and Rachel Haley OR William Robert "Will", Jack Sebastian and
Harrison Oliver.
answers4: ummmmmmmmmmmmmmmmm how about the arts for children? i don't
know i'm not good at making names

How to find (and afford) a performing arts high school?

answers1: Try Interlochen Center for the Arts....it's just southwest
of Traverse City! You can stay there too! The camp is right off of
Green Lake...the town of Interlochen isn't too far away either! I go
up there every year to the state park and absolutely love it!
answers2: The education will not pay off. <br>
It will not be worth the money. <br>
<br>
In this field it is EXTREMELY hard to get any job. <br>
Most end up being waitresses/waiters at restaurants.
answers3: i think performing high schools are worth it,,,, if u love
it,,, it's worth it... <br>
<br>
Google it, maybe
answers4: in spite of the fact that if that's an entire on performing
arts college, the incredibly education might not be the appropriate. i
became into questioning approximately going to a performing arts
college myself(i'm now in 9th grade). in the previous I auditioned, I
talked to a minimum of considered one of my who additionally went
there, and he stated that the contest and drama there is loopy
considering that performing is the main precedence. i might advise
going to a nicely-known college, and connect drama club there. i might
additionally be extra relaxing!

I would like to go to a performing arts boarding high school!!!!?

answers1: I don't know where Walnut Hill is, but check out Interlochen
Arts Academy in Michigan.
answers2: Performing Arts School sounds fun. The school I go to
MAster's School is very very known in the performing arts because of
its location( right next to NYC) and previous students. YOu can go to
the site and look at it yourself mastersny.org or look at other
schools at boardingschoolreview.com <br>
And if you need any additional help from me, I just started a message
board. I want to try to help applicants who are applying. There aren't
many members, but your membership is greatly appreciated. And if you
go there I can answer any of you questions fully. <br>
site- www.prepadmissions.proboards.com
answers3: No school is completely English....you will have to learn
some Italian, french, German, and Spanish anyways....music has a
tendency to be amazing like that.
answers4: NYC has no boarding schools at all. Period. Kids who want to
go to boarding school here, LEAVE the city and go elsewhere. I don't
know why this question keeps popping up. Is there some tv show where
there's a boarding school in NYC??? It's total fiction. Such a school
wouldn't be economically feasible, due to cost of space here in NYC.
EDIT: Clearly that one thumbs down is from the person below who posted
about the music conservatory in Westchester. But Westchester ISN'T
NYC!!! To be in NYC you must be in one of the 5 boroughs of NYC, which
are: Brooklyn (Kings County) Manhattan (New York County) Queens
(Queens County) The Bronx (Bronx County) Staten Island (Richmond
County) Westchester is Westchester COUNTY! It is NOT part of NYC!

is Chinese history taught in your country?

answers1: Do you mean like black history is in the U.S.A. ? <br>
<a href="http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ELQANgt8QUg"
rel="nofollow"class=Clr-b>http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ELQANgt8Q...</a>
answers2: My children took AP World History at an American high
school, and they spent several weeks on China. (AP stands for Advanced
Placement, and allows high school students the chance to earn college
credit while in high school -- these classes are more in-depth than
regular high school classes.) <br>
<br>
Edit -- Also, in sixth grade, California public school students take
world history, which also does several weeks on China. Both my kids
and I read "The Good Earth" in school. <br>
<br>
As you might guess, American public schools don't teach much about the
revolution, or modern Chinese history...
answers3: Not in the UK to my knowledge
answers4: None. What I've learned of Chinese History has been
documentaries on the History Channel and <br>
some non-fiction books. I wonder if American History is taught in
China & does each country teach only its own history.
answers5: surely history era could learn in school and by that i
advise history consistent with empirical reality not this "reality"
persons save on moaning approximately, history should not be
approximately whether or not you are the ordinary guy out or how lots
became written by your people basically on the account that they have

does the US army teach any history in bootcamp?

answers1: No. I think they're on their ABCs for the first few years.
answers2: Not really...not world history or US history...not in basic
training. You need to realize that the US Army isn't a school, it is
a branch of the military and so it focuses on things that relate to
the military such as military history, tactics, strategies, etc. <br>
<br>
The US Army teaches its newest recruits almost nothing about history,
aside from the US Army's birthday or other notable events. For
instance, how many soldiers learned about Operation Overlord in BCT?
What were Omaha and Utah beach? Who landed at Gold, Juno and Sword?
That stuff is a bit irrelevant to the rank and file soldier. <br>
<br>
If you get the chance, you can go to advanced schools like the Army's
War College where they not only teach you military history, but other
ways of becoming a better tactician and leader on the battlefield.
I've never been, so I can't really comment on what the syllabus looks
like, but I'm sure there's enough history in there that is relevant to
the military's mission.
answers3: The Marine Corp. teaches the History of Wars involving the
United States. They don't teach World History. The Young people know
nothing of what happened to the Palestinians after WW2. They don't
know what President Eisenhower said in His speech when He left office
in 1960. They get their news from Fox, Rush Limbaugh and Glenn Beck. I
could go on and on but what's the point. <br>

What is the best free genealogy website for ca?

answers1: Check with your local library - Most will let you access
Ancestry.ca for free. They also have lots of resources, old phone
directories, local history books, etc. as well as Census. <br>
<br>
I have been able to most of my research online, and thru my local library. <br>
<br>
My favourite sites are http://www.OurOntario.ca for pictures and news
clippings <br>
Library and Archives Canada - http://www.collectionscanada.gc.ca/ <br>
The Archive: http://archive.org/index.php
answers2: Ancestry or Familysearch.org are available at home. BUT
there are many other sites available at public libraries and at Family
History Centers at no cost.
answers3: There is no 'one' best site, all /any can be useful to help
you research as not all records are online on any website, so websites
are always only a help in researching......................
answers4: If you mean Canada, the Library and Archives of Canada is a
good place to start <br>
<a href="http://www.collectionscanada.gc.ca/lac-bac/search-recherche/anc.php?Language=eng"
rel="nofollow"class=Clr-b>http://www.collectionscanada.gc.ca/lac-b...</a>
<br>
<br>
FamilySearch.org has added literally millions of new digitized
Canadian records so check there too. <br>
<br>
Don't forget CyndisList Canada for links to local and regional resources. <br>
<a href="http://www.cyndislist.com/canada/"
rel="nofollow"class=Clr-b>http://www.cyndislist.com/canada/</a>
answers5: It depends on if ca means California or Canada. It also
depends on where exactly (province, county) and when your ancestor
lived, what type of records they left behind, where those records are
today, and what type of information you're looking for. Most useful
sites are not genealogy sites, per se, but databases that contain
information of genealogical value. For example, in California, the
CABI is helpful: <a href="http://www.californiabirthindex.org/"
rel="nofollow"class=Clr-b>http://www.californiabirthindex.org/</a> and
in Canada, the Archives and Census are very helpful.
answers6: This is one of my favorites that is specific. <br>
<br>
<a href="http://vitals.rootsweb.ancestry.com/ca/death/search.cgi"

<br>
<br>
California Death Records <br>
9,366,786 records from 1940 thru 1997 <br>
<br>
The Siskiyou County US Gen Web site is pretty good too.

Any recourse to living persons information on genealogy sites?

answers1: No it's not, I think its a gross invasion of their privacy.
In this country we are governed by the "data protection act". There
are things like leaving someone wide open to "identity theft", I know
I wouldn't want to be responsible for causing this to happen to
someone for the sake of two points and I wouldn't like to think some
one had done it to me either.
answers2: Even though Ancestry has a disclaimer, it does not prevent
you from asking them to remove the offending piece, they may still
refuse, but there is nothing lost by asking, otherwise, sadly, I think
there is probably very little else that you can do.
answers3: I've only run into someone like that on Ancestry once. But I
fought Ancestry.com on their own terms. I published my research in a
professional journal and this person stole it and republished it
without permission. My attorney sent them a bill for $30,000 for
copyright infringement. They tried to claim that they were immune from
that, but my attorney pointed out that they were charging people to
access family trees and receiving compensation for my research without
my permission. They pulled the tree and the woman in question was
banned from their site. <br>
<br>
I can't guarantee that there's much you can do if the information
isn't copyrighted. But if they are publishing information about a
living person, I would send Ancestry a notice that they are violating
their own privacy rules by publishing information about living people.
Here's the actual passage that I would use from the Terms of Service
to get Ancestry to remove the information: <br>
<br>
"We will not edit or monitor user provided content, with the exception
that, to promote privacy, an automated filtering tool will be used to
suppress, and omit from display, information submitted to the tree
areas of the site which appears to pertain to a LIVING person. We also
reserves the right to remove any user provided content that comes to
our attention and that we believe, in our sole discretion, is illegal,
obscene, indecent, DEFAMATORY, incites racial or ethnic hatred or
violates the rights of others, or is in any other way objectionable. "
<br>
<br>
You'll have to point out every person who is still alive and insist
through Customer Service that the information get removed. Mention
that your family was manipulated into giving this information and that
you repeatedly tried contacting the other subscriber to have it
removed, but to no avail. It's probable that the other person's email
on file is old and they're not even getting your emails, but Customer
Service can and should edit it for you.
answers4: You're right; Ancestry simply own the site, but it's down to
the individuals to edit their information. That's what you agree to in
their terms and conditions. I'm afraid I don't know too much about the
legislations for this, but I assume your country have some freedom of
information laws that may work for you. In the UK I know the laws are
strict, so it would be worth reading up about it if you're British.
Perhaps re-post this question in the law category for a better idea.
Good luck, it's not nice to be the victim to trash being written about
your family.
answers5: I wish I knew; every one of my siblings (6 in all) as well
as myself are listed in various genealogy trees. Much of the
information is erroneous (names, dates, etc.) (One of my uncles died
10 days before I was born; my Mom could not attend her brother's
funeral...but in some of these genealogy sites, he is listed as dying
in the 1980s!) <br>
The only suggestion I have is to contact a lawyer.
answers6: I have contacted people regarding erroneous information. I
don't press the issue if they don't change it. <br>
<br>
However, if the erroneous information is slanderous, I feel you
should. Also, if it is dealing with living persons, I think you can
press the issue with Ancestry.Com. On their Ancestry World Tree, for
instance, they will change a person's name to "Living" <br>
if they were born 1930 and later. Sometimes they slip up. On the
Public Member Tree the only time a person can see a living person's
name is if you have invited that person to view your tree. You can go
ahead and put their name in but the system will make them "Living
Smith" if you do not show they have died.
answers7: You could put the correct information on the same web site
and disprove the other's incorrect data.Some people just have no
class,check the privacy laws in your respective states. Public
records are allowed but private is a grey area. Get a laywer to issue
a letter requesting her information pertaining to the hurtful
information be removed. Sue for slander if your reputation has been
damaged.There is so much MISINFORMATION on the internet and people
take it as truth,if they don't check the sources,shame on them.

How if I don't have family Information do I get Genealogy?

answers1: If you were adopted ask your mom for your birth certificate.
I would think it would had your real mom's name and maybe your dad's.
If your not and only have your last name to go by go to
www.familysearch.org If you have aunt's ,uncles ask them
questions.Good luck
answers2: IF Adopted there are genealogy sites that have ADOPTION
catagories, start with Genforum, Rootsweb, Cyndis List. <br>
Track down where you were adopted from etc. Try the social services in
the town you were adopted in. Try a children's home you were adopted
from in some states if you are over 21 you can get this information,
there are sites to connect adopted with adoptees on the internet. If
not adopted ask questions from every living relative, where did they
live, check all the genealogy websites and familytreedna.com <br>
genealogists are always willing to help new hobbists.
answers3: By doing research.

Genealogy, why is it in Arts and Humanities?

answers1: It is not a science like anthropology. <br>
<br>
Social science subjects are a mainstay of many fields of research,
used to obtain an insight into a particular group of people in their
natural environment. <br>
<br>
<a href="http://explorable.com/social-science-subjects.html"
rel="nofollow"class=Clr-b>http://explorable.com/social-science-sub...</a>
answers2: Genealogy is a very misleading name. Genealogy is the study
family history and ancestors, not genetics and genes.
answers3: Genealogy is humanities....................... no it is not
a science like anthropology
answers4: Maybe you are thinking it has something to do with genes- it
doesn't. <br>
Genealogy is just family history, finding out about your ancestors
mainly by looking for written records.
answers5: Genelaogy per se is not a science. But, like many other
disciplines, science is very involved, particulary genetic genealogy.
<br>
<br>
An understanding of antrhopology really helps in finding ancestors
centuries ago, or understanding where you ancestors might have come
from (look up "european" tribes as an example), but, again, it is not
directly related. <br>
<br>
Genealogy is too abstract, too subjective. Some of the genealogy
books I have read, written by world's foremost genealogists, when
digging into trees hundreds of years ago examined all available
records, including family Bibles, any type historica record, wills,
etc., and would conclude that so and so was PROBABLY the son of such
and such based upon dates of birth and names. It was customary for
Germans in the 1400s and 1500s to name their sons & daughters after a
godmother or godfather. These godparents were frequently aunts,
uncles, or even grandparents. <br>
<br>
In my trees, it is common for a person in one generation to have a
certain name, the succeeding generation a different name, then back to
the first name. Or, especially with the Germans, each generation
having the same name, just a variant: Johann, Johannes, Hans, etc.
<br>
<br>
In other words, genealogy does fit neatly into "Humanities"; you can't
get any more "humanity" than histories of families.
answers6: For all the categories it is the best one for Yahoo to put
it Now for Genetics they have a Biology category under Science and
Mathematics A lot of people askng questions confuse the two. We get
Genetics questons all the time and they really belong under Biology as
Genealogy and Genetics are not the same thing. In genealogy we trace
ancestry using documents/records.
answers7: sure, the comparable element seems to be occurring with all
categories. i've got been attempting ask a question approximately
regular practitioner Who in "entertainment & music > television >
Drama", it rapidly categorizes it as "technological awareness &
arithmetic > medicine" and could no longer permit me browse with the
intention to set the final type. there is definately some thing
decidedly ordinary occurring. Very demanding. additionally, a question
I did be ready to get interior the final type, hasn't been listed in
its type on the positioning. curiously the only people who can see it
are my contacts. back, maximum demanding. to offer a megastar, you
purely click on the megastar image on the bar under a question.
answers8: It's not a causal science, or "natural" science. <br>
<br>
It concerns itself primarily with history, so I suppose Arts and
Humanities was as close as the Yahoo types could come to an
appropriate category.
answers9: Genealogy is the study of direct ancestral lineage within a
specific family. It is more than a series of family histories and at
the same time not actually related to any of physical or social
sciences. <br>
The research, if don't correctly includes the gathering of documents
that verifies the existence of ones family members, such as birth
marriage and death documentation as well as other information that
could include church records, obituaries and other newspaper articles;
as well as the information provided by other researchers and
historical societies. <br>
It is by no means a Science, but at the same time can be very involved
and complex research. <br>
<br>
As to why it is in the Arts and Humanities Category - that can only be
answered by saying because that is where YA has placed it, and in a
general manner could be considered a Humanity.

What is the best online site or free program to start documenting genealogy?

answers1: My personal preference includes several sites, all of them
free. I have tried Ancestry, and found that it works as a clue, and
that most of the material on Ancestry has no resources cited. It is
there for not very useful for me, as I document everything. <br>
I like the Social Security Death Index, and Familysearch.org. I also
use the Family History Centers because they are free and offer access
to several subscription sites, have all the forms you could possible
need and have volunteer consultants to help out. They are also open
to the public and free.
answers2: If it's only to document, than try free download of
MyHeritage Family Tree Builder. A handy program, it keeps files on
your computer and backs them up (optional) on the site itself.
answers3: The three most popular genealogy programs that are free are: <br>
PAF (Personal Ancestral File) from the LDS (Mormon) Family Search Website <br>
<a href="http://www.familysearch.org/eng/default.asp"
rel="nofollow"class=Clr-b>http://www.familysearch.org/eng/default....</a>
<br>
<br>
This program is by far the simplest and some people like that but
there are many things it cannot do that the newer programs can. Plus,
now that other programs are working with FamilySearch.org this program
will "never" receive another update. <br>
<br>
Legacy Standard Edition 7.5 from Legacy Family Tree <br>
<a href="http://www.legacyfamilytree.com/"
rel="nofollow"class=Clr-b>http://www.legacyfamilytree.com/</a> <br>
<br>
The standard edition of this program is 100% free and only has a few
less bells and whistles than the deluxe edition. They have a nice
comparison chart showing the program's features compared to others on
the market. You can download the Deluxe Edition for $29.95. <br>
<br>
RootsMagic Essentials from Roots Magic, Inc. <br>
<a href="http://www.rootsmagic.com/Essentials/"
rel="nofollow"class=Clr-b>http://www.rootsmagic.com/Essentials/</a>
<br>
http://www.rootsmagic.com/RootsMagic/Features.aspx <br>
<br>
Rootsmagic Essentials is a relatively new offering in the "free"
software category. This one I tried and it will not allow you to print
any reports after you input your data until you purchase the
"full-version" of the software, you can just view reports on you
monitor, unless they have changed something that I am unaware of. The
full version of RootsMagic is $29.95. <br>
<br>
All of these free downloads will have less features than the deluxe
software but I still think it is a good idea to download them and get
a feel for their general appearance and function before making a
decision…I always recommend the "try before you buy" policy whenever
possible. <br>
<br>
Also, the genealogy programs suggested here have message boards on
Rootsweb where a user could search the archives to find an answer to
most questions or post a new query and receive an answer within a day
of asking. You could also read the post to get a feel for how other
users like/dislike their software and find more specific details as to
why. http://boards.rootsweb.com/topics.software/mb.ashx <br>
<br>
Of course, Family Tree Maker is the number one selling software but
you asked for information on free software so I did not include
information on that program because they do not a free product. <br>
<br>
Also, I think it is always better to have your data on your own
computer rather than on a website because this way you have complete
control of you information and never have to be concerned about what
someone else might do with your data. I personally, never upload
anything to Ancestry.com or any other website because the material
becomes their property once you do that [read the terms and
conditions, carefully].
answers4: First of all, welcome to the individual international of
family tree! Yes, I've been studying my loved ones's historical past
considering the fact that the mid-1970's and received supercharged to
"discover out the whole thing" while the mini-sequence "Roots" got
here out. I use the software "FamilyTreeMaker". Its consumer pleasant
and has plenty of well matters in it. I might begin off with what you
understand. Start with you as the primary character within the
software and paintings backwards by way of your mother and father. Try
to get beginning, marriage and dying dates from loved ones individuals
if you do not know them already. Remember the cousins have
information, too. And...you're in general no longer the one one to
have an interest. Ask round. There possibly a couple of aunts that
experience a mystery stash of loved ones images, bibles, letters
and/or different fundamental understanding. Visit cemetaries. You'll
be amazed what you'll be able to discover there. If your ancestor is
in a single plot, probabilities are, the character within the
subsequent plot is a relative, too. Make certain you write down the
understanding at the tombstone. Even if you do not appreciate what it
approach or if the title is exclusive. Again, probabilities are they
are similar by some means. Make certain you're making peers with the
top librarian at your regional library. I'm certain she is aware of
the right way to discover matters for your fatherland. Good success
and tell us the way it seems.
answers5: There are three programs you can download for free, and a
number of them you can buy for less than the cost of dinner for two at
Denny's. <br>
<br>
The Mormons will give you PAF for free because that's what they do;
they are to genealogy what Zen Buddhists are to gardens. <br>
<a href="http://www.familysearch.org/eng/default.asp"
rel="nofollow"class=Clr-b>http://www.familysearch.org/eng/default....</a>
<br>
<br>
Roots Magic and Legacy will both let you download "Lite" versions of
their programs for free, in hopes that you like them so much you'll
pay $29 to get the full strength version: <br>
<br>
<a href="http://www.rootsmagic.com/"
rel="nofollow"class=Clr-b>http://www.rootsmagic.com/</a> <br>
(Look for "Essentials") <br>
<br>
<a href="http://www.legacyfamilytree.com/"
rel="nofollow"class=Clr-b>http://www.legacyfamilytree.com/</a> <br>
(Look for "Standard" and ignore the graphics; they look like the world
is ending with a volley of pedigree-shaped lightning bolts. The people
in the farmhouse are either in the root cellar, burrowing beneath the
rutabagas for protection, or on their knees, trying to confess to 30
years worth of sins in 30 seconds.)

Dances whom are VERY serious about dance tell me what you think?

answers1: The thing that keeps me dancing is that music! Everytime i
hear music (slow or fast) i just wanna get up outta my seat and dance!
<br>
<br>
Well Im a B-Girl/ Breaker. thats more like Popping, headspins, Halos,
Flares,L kicks, But i do dance more than breaking too. <br>
<br>
well Its the same as i answered the 1st question...The thing that
keeps me dancing is that music! Everytime i hear music (slow or fast)
i just wanna get up outta my seat and dance!
answers2: I dance because: <br>
I love it when people are amazed at what you can do. <br>
I love being onstage in the spotlight <br>
I love being very flexible <br>
I love all of the friends that I have made <br>
I love going to competitions <br>
My love for dance and my desire for dance keeps me dancing <br>
I take lyrical, modern, jazz, tap, ballet, and hip-hop. <br>
It is my favorite thing to do! <br>
I hope you love it as much as I do
answers3: It's the same as asking an artist why they paint <br>
or why a person sings <br>
Dancing is an art form, an art that doesn't require any utensils, It's
just you and the music and with those combined you create a master
piece with your body, and if that's not a good enough reason to do it
than i don't know what is...It shouldn't be about putting on a show
and pleasing ppl(it's a plus) but dance for me comes from within and
it's where you channel are your inner emotions and expressions and you
bleed it out on the dance floor, whether you break, pop, lock, do
ballet, Jazz etc it's all an expression of yourself <br>
and i just love the power that dance has over me
answers4: Just to know that I'm constantly going to be able to learn
because the dance world is constantly changing and growing. Being able
to express myself doing doing I love. Being able to have freedom of
movement and expressions and interpretations and moods. Knowing I will
always have something to fall back on. Meeting new people who share
the same passion as you. Knowing someday I'll be able to pass on my
own knowledge of dance to others and hopefully make a living out of
it. Having fun. Performing and competing. The stage makeup and outfits
and being recognized for doing well. Having another "world" to go to
whenever I want. Being told how to improve anything and everything.
Being able to work hard and continue strengthening. <br>
<br>
I just love it!
answers5: I don't know really, but when I don't go, I really miss it. <br>
<br>
I like the fun side of seeing all my dance friends and being able to
chat about steps and stuff (none of my school friends dance), but I
like working hard too, and when you get it right, it feels like you've
achieved something, and then you can do it over and over again. <br>
<br>
But I do like the shows and all the pretty costumes too!
answers6: Dancing makes me not think about anything...When i haven't
been dancing for at least two days i miss it like hell. I love
dressing up doing hair and makeup the sparkly dresses and then
everyone watching you and seeing you dance really really well because
you have practiced like so much people couldn't imagine...you have
danced the same thing over and over again until your feet arte aching
yet every time you do it the love of dance just takes over. What keeps
me dancing? I really don't know all i know is that if i wasn't dancing
my life would be damn boring... the best thing in my life is dancing
when im depressed the only thing that makes me happy is the thought of
when i next have DANCE CLASS! Im addicted to it and whenever i watch
dance shows i get up and dance with them... I love to please people
when i dance as well as feeling as though i have done it! When i
finally get a step right i feel as though i can do anything... <br>
Dancing (as gay as this may sound) is my life! XD
answers7: for me it's a way to express myself and my feelings, to feel
free and beautiful and to feel my body. <br>
I love music and it would be hard for me not to move to it. <br>
I like different music and dance styles that allow to play "roles" in
different costumes. <br>
Dancing allows me to be another person, to let come out hidden parts
of my personality, but at the same time it's always me dancing.
answers8: I love to dance because: <br>
I love to perform, and see everyone go wooow at what i do. <br>
I love being flexible. <br>
I love the costumes. <br>
I love just loooking so beautiful when i dance. <br>
I love to express myself through dance. <br>
I love to one day become a ballerina. <br>
I would dream of the day i go on pointe.
answers9: dancing is an art,i love it. <br>
what keeps me dancing? <br>
its my heart that tell me to keep dancing. <br>
its the music that i enjoy when i dance. <br>
i enjoy dance its smth really beautiful. <br>
its a talent tht people got from god. <br>
when i hear any music my feet tells me to stand up and start dancing. <br>
dancing is abt music. <br>
dancing is not only shaking yr body and make up and costume its
enjoying the music and just keep on dancing not caring for anyone you
and your mind and body is just inolved in dancing <br>
thts all i know what dance is.
answers10: Knowing that their is still stuff to master. I want to make
myself proud and my mother. I love the recitals and the reactions from
new friends who see me dance for the first time and didn't know I was
as good as I am( not to sound conceited). That is what keeps me
dancing but also because it makes me feel alive and superhuman.When I
feel sad it's there to heal me, it never fails me like people do.

The author of confusion, strife, contention, division?

answers1: That author would be satan.
answers2: Then he is not the author of the Bible which is full of
confusion, strife, contention, and division.
answers3: Satan is the author of confusion, strife, contention, division <br>
<br>
(So, dont we all know who is stirring the pot in Middle East?) <br>
<br>
<br>
while Jehovah God is not the author of confusion but of peace <br>
<br>
<br>
Balaam's A S S had spoken
answers4: What's your question, sparky?
answers5: To assemble the world I suppose one would use Assembly
language. JFTR. The Kabalistic Jews believe there IS a 'language of
God'. Essentially that the Universe is a virtual reality program and
if you knew the programming language you could modify the universe.
Much like the language of DNA creates & controls life. If we
understood the language, we could create whatever type of life we
wanted. But no one thinks this is a human language. The Bible wasn't
even written in English & does not directly discuss the 'Language of
God' Mocking Religion is pointless, unless you are a Marxist ascribing
to the absurd notion that our violent nature somehow comes from
Religion. (Which is anti Darwin) The question: "Where does the logic
of the universe come from?" is actually quite a good one. And once you
get past your smugness for figuring out that the Religious
descriptions of God are tailored for man…. …You might stare into the
void and glimpse the Actuality of God.
answers6: Lucifer was the author of confusion, strife, contention,
division, before he became satan.
answers7: Well, you kinda wrong. The bible itself says that God is
responsible for confusion. It seems hard to believe that the Bible
would admit to this but when God responded to the Tower of Babel being
built he decided that man worked together too well so he confused the
languages of mankind. Seems to me to be kind of a dick move. Since we
can't even understand the bible in the language it was meant to be
read in because of God's creating confusion.
answers8: I would agree and also that Satan is the father of lies, but
I have some trouble reconciling that with verses like Matt 10:34-35.
When Jesus says,'Think not that I am come to send peace on earth; I
came not to send peace, but a sword. For I am come to set a man at
varianc against his father, and the daughter against her mother, and
the daughter in law against her mother in law.'
answers9: (that is the family of our heavenly Father,) that we have
all received the same faith, the same doctrines, and have partaken of
the same Spirit and the same gifts, the Spirit having rested down upon
all alike according to his or her faith. If it were not so heaven
would be full of clashing sectaries; it would be full of confusion,
strife and division and every kind of contention; because the same
spirit that characterizes men here, and that creates division and
contention among them here, if they could reach heaven in the
possession of it, as some claim they do, would turn heaven itself into
a pandemonium, and make it no better than this earth so far as
confusion is concerned. This is not the Gospel of the Lord Jesus; this
is not the path that he marked out.

Partner authors?? Young author help?

answers1: Well as writers, thats your decision
answers2: Well, im a young author and not that I cant write about
romance, but I write about whatever moves me. <br>
<br>
Things that are most inspiring for writing: <br>
<br>
Religion <br>
<br>
Betrayal (friendship) <br>
<br>
Prejudices/Hardship <br>
<br>
Physical Insecurities (too fat, too thin) <br>
<br>
Mental health issues (depression, insanity) <br>
<br>
Death <br>
<br>
Tyranny <br>
<br>
Of course there are many more things to write about, but if I were
you, I would call upon the latest thing that made you feel sad/mad.
This feeling is usually started by a big experience and is perfect for
a story line. You and your friend could both incorporate this and make
for one hell of a drama. :-) <br>
Hope this gies you some ideas...

why male authors write about male characters and why female authors write about female characters?

answers1: have you ever read anything by S.E. Hinton? She's a really
good author and most (if not all) of her books are written from the
male point of view. I actually though the author was a guy until i
learned S.E. standed for Susan Eloise. I really enjoyed those books...
the outsiders is my favorite.
answers2: I don't think this is true at all actually. While it may be
easier for authors to write main characters of their own gender, I
don't think that a good author needs to or does stick with one gender
for their protagonist. <br>
I can think of many many examples of authors writing main characters
of the opposite gender. <br>
A few famous ones: <br>
Harry Potter - J.K. Rowling <br>
Carrie - Stephen King <br>
Interview with the Vampire by Anne Rice <br>
The Fountainhead by Ayn Rand <br>
Frankenstein by Mary Shelley <br>
<br>
These are a few examples of books you might recognize - I can think of
any number of examples but you might not have heard of the books or
authors. (Un-Lun-Dun by China Mieville, A Hatful of Sky by Terry
Pratchett, The Lives of Christopher Chant by Diana Wynne Jones,
Abhorsen by Garth Nix etc.) <br>
<br>
A good author is a student of human behavior and will adequately be
able to represent both genders. If they're just better at one gender
or the other, of course it makes sense to stick with it. But I don't
think that writing about one's own gender is a trend really.
answers3: men know men better and women know women better.
answers4: It's because who knows males better than a male and who
knows females better than a female? People write about their own
gender because that's what they know about. If I, a girl, were to
write about the experiences of a guy, I wouldn't be able to fully
grasp and explain those emotions because I wouldn't know them. <br>
It's just easier to write about what you know and experience.
answers5: The old adage of "write what you know" holds true here. Most
of my characters are male (as am I), but the heroes of my stories are
usually female! This reflects my life; I've always found it easier to
be friends with women, and for the most part I think guys are kinda
dorky.
answers6: I think its easier to go with what you know but my 2
favorite authors, JK and Nora Roberts both write from male
perspective.. Harry Potter and then Nora writes a lot of stories that
flit between male and female perspective.. I cant say I know many men
who write from a female POV tho..

good interview questions to ask an author?

answers1: What inspired the author to write the book(s)? <br>
How did the author start writing? <br>
What was the author's favorite part of the book(s)? <br>
What was the hardest part to write in the book(s)? <br>
What did the author wish was different about the book(s)? <br>
What are the author's favorite authors/books? <br>
If the author could have dinner with one person, dead or alive, who
would it be and why? <br>
<br>
Hope this helps!
answers2: What was your life like before becoming an author? <br>
What sparked the idea for your novel? <br>
How personal is your writing? <br>
Do you outline? <br>
What is your writing routine? <br>
Which comes first? The character's story or the idea for the novel? <br>
What advice do you have for someone who would like to become a published writer?

anyone suggest good books?

answers1: The Uglies series by Scott Westerfield. Great books.
answers2: My Sister's Keeper by Jodi Picoult is a really good book, it
has an ending that is mind-boggling. <br>
<br>
The Truth About Forever by Sarah Dessen has love in it and is on of my
most recommended books <br>
<br>
Pride and Prejudice by Jane Austen is a good classics book, if you
like that sort of thing. <br>
<br>
The Bar Code Tattoo by Suzanne Wyn is a little on the weird side. It's
in the future but it's pretty good.
answers3: The Folded World by Amity Gaige. It's a fiction novel, with
a little romance and some comedy. It's about a social worker drawn
into the lives of his insane patients, it also addresses the universal
dilemma of love "in which giving to another can seem like the death of
the world of oneself." It's interesting, not in a twisted way like you
would originally expect either. I'm not quite finished with it but
it's definitely worth reading.
answers4: twilight,
answers5: My favorites are mostly vampire-related but <br>
The vampire diaries- lj smith (series) <br>
Vampire academy- richelle mead (series) <br>
maximum ride- idk (series) <br>
twilight- stephanie meyers (series) <br>
Mortal instruments- cassandra claire (series) <br>
Gone- idk
answers6: shadow in the wind , be warned there is some disturbing
parts. It is a historical fiction that takes place in barcelona and is
directed towards those who are well read. It is a different sort of
story, definitely not for younger adolescents but may not be what you
are looking for. I would advise you to set aside some time to visit a
bookstore and pour some time into it. it may not be what you desire
but it is a enthralling read. <br>
<br>
i would warn you against the twilight series ( excuse my bias but it
seems to be for those who grew up on harry potter and need some more
romance, it appeals mostly to young teenage girls and the romance
feels flawed, - i have read the series) <br>
<br>
the host by the same author is high on most bestseller lists and shows
the writers skill. it was written for an older audience than twilight
<br>
<br>
Going to a independent bookstore and asking there would be a good next
step in finding an appropriate book for you.
answers7: romance- <br>
less of a stranger- nora roberts <br>
untamed- nora roberts <br>
be mine tonight- kathryn smith(paranormal) <br>

love them <br>

what are some good Drama books?

answers1: read the shekspears books you will like those drama books very much

Tuesday 3 September 2019

why are certain books left out from the bible?

answers1: Because the powers that be decided they didn't support the
doctrine that the church was promoting. They made sure to spread the
story that the texts were "not authentic" or "not inspired by God" so
the people in the pews wouldn't begin to wonder if they were being
manipulated.
answers2: From what i understood alot of fathers or priests made
revisions? took out things that didnt sound right to them? im still
studying that subject but i also understood that the book of mormon
help fill in the gaps of the bible which i find really fascinating and
i personally find that true. Enoch is found in the Book of Moses in
the perl of great price. <br>

rel="nofollow"class=Clr-b>http://lds.org/scriptures/pgp/moses/7?la...</a>
answers3: There was also a book of Mary left out. I believe it was
Mary Magdalene. People pick n choose, I don't believe anything much
that people tell me though. We only know what the generations have
passed down to us. No one really knows.
answers4: The Early Church Fathers knew that the Earth was flat and
that it had 4 corners so they picked 4 out of over 20 Gospels
available! You can read all about it in the writings of the Early
Church Fathers! The Gospel of Matthew was extensively edited. Some of
the Early Church Fathers were complaining that they had more than a
copy of a particular Gospel author that were not saying the same
thing. Xerox machines were not invented yet and each copyist wrote
their own footnotes that became part of the main text. Reading the
Early Church Father's writings can give you an idea how Christianity
was put together! Developing a feeling of puking is a natural
reaction. Christians must be very gullible to believe all that it is
written in the Bible, or be politically motivated to accept only
selected portions without making any waves! <br>
<br>
The number of books in the "inspired" New Testament was limited by the
number of letters in the Greek alphabet. The number of books in the
"inspired" Old Testament was limited by the number of letters in the
Hebrew alphabet!
answers5: These books were so rare that NOBODY had ever heard of them.
The books that are in the bible were known far and wide but the books
left out were not "inspired" by GOD but rather man and no one had ever
heard of them.
answers6: The Book of Enoch wasn't written by Enoch, the Church at an
early stage rejected it because of that even by the time of Origen of
Alexandria, Head of the Catechetical school there, almost all churches
rejected it because of that. Though it had some true things from
tradition, it still was not by Enoch. Others were left out for the
same reason and other reasons.
answers7: I like the book of Enoch and have a link to it. I think it
was left out because it was a Christian belief that it may have led to
the worship of angels. <br>
<br>
The Jews have it and still use it.
answers8: Because the people who had the authority to pick the books
decided they were not consistent with the message they thought the

Honestly, what is a book review?

answers1: A book review basically means what it's called; it reviews
what the whole book is about, without giving everything away.
answers2: It explains the premise of the story, but defines itself as
either a good book to be recommended to others, or not. The only
reason book reviews exist is to tell people about books, and pass on
thoughts about them
answers3: Typically a book review is designed by someone who has read
a particular book, and wants to share his/ her thoughts. <br>
A good book review would consist of several things, namely, a brief
description of the book (without detail) and then a more in depth view
of the book. <br>
Are you going to write a book review? <br>
Here's some pointers. <br>
One thing that I have found, when writing book reviews on my website
www.bookworm-book-reviews.com is that, <br>
<br>
1. It helps to have read the book very recently. <br>
2. A description of the main characters is a must. <br>
3. *Never* give the story away. <br>
4. A good book review should be about 200 words or longer. <br>
I hope this helps!
