Honestly, what is a book review?

answers1: A book review basically means what it's called; it reviews
what the whole book is about, without giving everything away.
answers2: It explains the premise of the story, but defines itself as
either a good book to be recommended to others, or not. The only
reason book reviews exist is to tell people about books, and pass on
thoughts about them
answers3: Typically a book review is designed by someone who has read
a particular book, and wants to share his/ her thoughts.
A good book review would consist of several things, namely, a brief
description of the book (without detail) and then a more in depth view
of the book.
Are you going to write a book review?
Here's some pointers.
One thing that I have found, when writing book reviews on my website
www.bookworm-book-reviews.com is that,

1. It helps to have read the book very recently.
2. A description of the main characters is a must.
3. *Never* give the story away.
4. A good book review should be about 200 words or longer.
I hope this helps!
