Susan Rambo: "This assignment was prepared as a part of the Master of Mathematics 3rd Cycle of Basic and Secondary Education at the University of Madeira in the academic year of 2012/2013.Its major objectives are to qualitatively analyze an activity which will lead to the understanding of how students learn trigonometry from the use of Lego NXT robots. It also briefly presents the work of the intern group throughout the Supervised Practice Teaching.To better study the problem at stake, researchers collected the data through audiovisual recording of the students' work.Dissecting the issue into the following research questions allowed for further examination of the problem:(a) How much learning do students achieve with the assembly, programming and robot interaction? (b) How do the students learn trigonometry through the use of Robots?
