Wait, one exception, a recent one: there was a case where a friend was told to check into a different hospital (he was told he had to go to the district hospital for where he lived, not to a hospital of his choice). After a few phone calls, the matter was resolved and he is receiving the proper care he needs at the hospital he wants.b) what are your feelings in general about your country's system All in all, the quality of health care and doctors' attitudes towards patients have improved tremendously over the past 18 years. There is much to praise and little to criticise.If I had to point fingers, IMHO a current major problem is that business and profit interests are gaining more influence over health care policy decisions, but I do not think these interests will ever be able to gain the upper hand over the provision of quality universal care.
