Marya Fehn: The air conditioning is designed to remove the humidity therefore making the air drier. This can dry out your sinus cavities causing headaches, soar throats, and other irritations. I often get headaches when I'm in air conditioning. Try turning it to the lowest setting and aiming the vents away from your face, even cracking the window slightly.
Lahoma Beadell: yes! many air conditioning units have mold in the ducts. there,s also the effect air con... has on your sinuses. my wife has to deal with this all the time.
Karie Mavle: Not the air conditioner itself. There may be something in the air that is being blown around that is causing it. Try getting an air cleaner, like a Heppa. Also, heat can cause headaches if your getting over heated.
