Do any London to Brighton trains stop at Hassocks rail?

Rolanda Merritt: Hassocks is served every half hour by First Capital Connect (Thameslink) trains from St. Pancras, Blackfriars or London Bridge. Look at the next train screens at these stations for a train to "Brighton" with First Capital Connect shown as the operator.Hassocks is also served by Southern trains (although less frequently than Thameslink) from London Victoria. These trains will also show as Brighton on the "next train" screen. Beware however that not all trains to Brighton stop at Hassocks as some run straight past without stopping. Take a careful look at the next train screen on the platform that the train to Brighton says it will call at Hassocks before boarding. As for ticketing, I guess you are! getting off at Hassocks and then carrying onto Brighton later, if so, ask for a ticket straight through to Brighton. A Cheap Day Return (for use outside of peak hours) allows a break of journey in both directions. This will cost £12.00 (non discount price)....Show more

Coy Tapley: As above. You can check the times of trains stopping at Hasocks on www.nationalrail.co.uk
